Bio: Magalie R Bazinet is a multidisciplinary performer and a bilingual actress in Toronto. She trained at Mode é Arto Acting School in Québec, as well as George Brown Theatre School in Toronto. In addition to being active with the Limoilou Cégep Theater program, she obtained a post-secondary diploma in Language-Arts. Recently, she trained at The Acting Corps of Los Angeles and discovered the Meisner technique. Magalie is also a skilled dancer; trained in ballet, hip-hop, jazz and modern dance which she enhances with her own brand of gymnastics and stunts. Moreover, she was coached in classical and contemporary vocal arts by distinguished Québec vocal trainer Mrs. Manon Lefrançois. Since moving back to Toronto in 2014, she has worked with several theatre companies and has shot multiple commercials, short films and music videos. She has directed three theatre plays: her latest, 'Sanctuary', she also produced. Magalie harmoniously combines her talents on stage and brings a strong magnetism to her performances. She believes performing arts should bring awareness on social, political and cultural issues, open minds, heal wounds and entertain its audience. Magalie is a dedicated artist and she aims to bring high quality performances to the Toronto theatre stage and film industry.
