Bio: My insides tickle when I have to tell people I’m a journalist because it seems like a lie; probably because I haven’t reached where I would like to be yet. So I refer to myself as an aspiring journalist. SweptMedia helps me take a step closer to my goals. I would like to say I’m part of SweptMedia today because of Humber’s journalism program where I met people who understood the thriving journalist in me. It isn’t easy being in this industry today. But we try and keep our passion alive. I’ve always enjoyed doing hard news stories that revolve around politics and not everyday an "aspiring journalist" gets a chance to explore her skills.
